Brimmed hats are technically complex and challenging to make. Is it possible to make them from one piece of felt? How do you do the fulling on such a difficult shape? To be able to block the main shape, you will need a dome-shaped hat block (the one used for round-crown hats). For rolling the felt, it is best to use a bamboo shade. I will also provide you with some suggestions on where to buy your materials from.
